Door 2 — Manufacturing systems

I spend my days in a plant, not a pitch deck.

Yield analysis, regulatory-compliant production data collection, ERP go-lives, and the end of line labeling and integration work that every vendor on the project treats as someone else's job.

01  —  What I know

The mid-market workhorses.

The systems I know are the mid-market workhorses: Infor M3 and Factory Track, CAT2 on the MES side, BarTender and LabelView for labeling, and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for the homegrown layer every plant actually runs on.

The brands are not the point. The failure modes are the same everywhere, and the failure modes are what I know.

02  —  Two ways to hire me

Flat fee, or the rescue.

i.

ERP Go-Live Readiness Audit

Two weeks, remote. I review your data migration, shop floor data collection, labeling, and integration risk, and hand you a ranked punch list before cutover finds the problems for you. No hourly meter, no scope creep, no obligation afterward.

ii.

Labeling and integration rescue

For when the line is not shipping, the ERP partner blames the labeling vendor, and the labeling vendor blames the data. I sit in exactly that gap. Free 30 minute triage call first; if it is not my kind of problem, I will say so and point you somewhere useful.

$125/hr10 hr minimum

Remote first. Onsite negotiable for the Carolinas.

03  —  Also on offer

Getting real work out of the harnesses.

I also train teams on using AI coding and agent tools (Claude, Codex, and the Copilot ecosystem) for production support work: not chatbots, just getting real work out of the harnesses. Ask if that is relevant to you.

Text me

Tell me where the line stopped.

A go-live date, a labeling job that will not print, an integration nobody will own. One sentence is enough to start.

No autoresponders, same as always (910) 996‑3764 Free 30 minute triage on the rescue work. If it is not my kind of problem, I will say so.
